TopMarks exists to level the playing field for every Nigerian student preparing for WAEC and JAMB. Too many students cannot afford expensive lesson materials or private tutors.

How We Work

A free account gives you 10 practice sets per subject on TopMarks Exam — real exam-standard questions with the full step-by-step solution on every one — and the first skill of each SSS year on TopMarks Learn, with unlimited practice inside it. No trial period, and nothing expires.

When you have worked through those, there is a membership. TopMarks Full Access opens TopMarks Exam and TopMarks Learn together, from ₦6,000 for 1 month. The longer you buy, the less it costs a month — down to ₦3,500 a month on the 1 year plan. TopMarks Learn opens every skill in every skill map — your study plan is free to build, and membership opens the skills it sends you to — plus mock exams. TopMarks Exam opens every practice set and the timed exam simulation. You pay once for the length you choose. Nothing renews automatically, nothing is saved to charge later, and nothing is taken again unless you come back and buy another period yourself. Every score you have earned stays yours either way.

Memberships are what pay for the servers and the people writing the questions. That is the whole business model — there is nothing else we are selling, and nobody else paying us for your attention.

How our questions are made

• Reviewed by experienced examiners. Every question and solution is reviewed by examiners versed in WAEC and JAMB, each with more than thirty years of experience. They check that a question could be set as written, and that the solution would earn every mark it claims.
• Written to the syllabus, not copied from it. Every question is authored against the current WAEC, NECO and JAMB syllabus in the real exam format. Where we hold an actual past paper, the question names the sitting it came from — and where we do not, it does not claim one.
• Checked against a written standard. We keep an authoring standard covering what a question may claim, how options are built and what a solution must show. It is enforced automatically: a question that breaks it stops the release.
• Solutions are marked, not just answered. Model answers are written to the mark points an examiner actually awards, and each one is verified to score full marks before it ships.
• Mistakes get fixed, and you can report one. Every question carries a “Report an error” link. Reports come to a person, corrections go out in the next release, and we would rather you told us than quietly stopped trusting the bank.

We are a new platform. We do not have student testimonials or improvement statistics yet, and we are not going to publish numbers we have not earned. What we can show you is a real question with its full solution — that is the first thing on our homepage, deliberately.
