1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TopMarks (topmarks.com.ng), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users and premium subscribers.

2. The Service

TopMarks provides an online exam preparation service for Nigerian students preparing for WAEC, NECO and JAMB examinations. The platform offers exam-standard practice questions, step-by-step explanations and study tools.

We offer two tiers of access:

  • Free tier, TopMarks Exam — 100 practice questions in every subject, with full worked solutions, free of charge.
  • Free tier, TopMarks Learn — the first skill of each SSS year in every subject, free of charge, with as much practice as you like inside those skills.
  • Paid plans — a paid plan lifts the free-tier limits on the product or products it names, for as long as the subscription is active. It does not open a product it does not name:
    • TopMarks Full Access (₦6,000 for 1 month) — opens TopMarks Exam and TopMarks Learn in full.
    • TopMarks Full Access (₦15,000 for 3 months) — opens TopMarks Exam and TopMarks Learn in full.
    • TopMarks Full Access (₦28,000 for 6 months) — opens TopMarks Exam and TopMarks Learn in full.
    • TopMarks Full Access (₦42,000 for 1 year) — opens TopMarks Exam and TopMarks Learn in full.

3. Account Registration

To access practice content you must create a free account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
  • Keep your password confidential and not share your account with others.
  • Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • Be at least 13 years old. If you are 13 to 17, have a parent or guardian’s permission before you register or pay.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Membership is sold as a single payment granting a fixed period of full access, from 1 month to 1 year. It does NOT renew automatically, and we will not charge your payment method again unless you start a new period yourself.

Because nothing recurs, there is nothing to cancel. Your access ends when the period you paid for expires, and you return to the free tier keeping all progress you have earned.

Prices may change for future purchases. Any period you have already paid for is unaffected, at the price and length you bought it.

Payments are processed securely by Paystack. We do not offer refunds for partial periods, and we do not store your card details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute or resell any content from TopMarks without written permission.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract questions or solutions in bulk.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack or disrupt the platform.
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to use your subscription.
  • Post or transmit any unlawful, offensive or harmful content.
  • Impersonate any person or organisation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on TopMarks — including questions, solutions, explanations, graphics and software — is the property of TopMarks or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may use the content solely for your personal, non-commercial study purposes.

Past examination questions are the property of their respective examination bodies (WAEC, NECO and JAMB). TopMarks’s original contributions include the step-by-step solutions, explanations and tips.

7. Disclaimers

TopMarks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that using the platform will result in any particular exam score or grade. Past questions are provided for practice purposes and may not perfectly reflect current examination formats.

We make every effort to ensure solutions are accurate, but errors may occur. If you spot an error, please report it to info@topmarks.com.ng.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, TopMarks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding any claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify registered users by email. Continued use of TopMarks after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
